Geography:
The establishment of the Panchayat Samiti Velhe took place on 1962, and the area of Velhe Taluka is 569.13 square kilometers. The average annual rainfall in the taluka is up to 2560 mm. The major rivers in the taluka are Gunjanwadi, Amba, and Kanand. The dams include Gunjanwadi, Panshet, and Varsgaon. The memorial of Rajmata Jijau is located in Pal Budruk. There are also temples in Velhe Taluka such as the Mengai Mata Temple, Shirakai Mata Temple, Malai Devi Temple, Dhaneshwarji Temple, etc. The geographic area of the taluka is 56913 hectares.
