Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Rural

1. As per the Government Resolution issued by the Government of Maharashtra, Rural Development Department, dated 14 October 2016, instructions have been given by the State Government to implement the Centrally Sponsored Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin in the State.

2. The earlier Indira Awas Yojana has been converted into Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin.

3. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin has been in operation since 14 October 2016.

4. Beneficiaries are selected from the *Generated Priority List* prepared on the basis of the Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) – 2011, with approval of the Gram Sabha.
